I am so excited!!!

My husband just ordered a chipper and brush hog, so now we can go to town on our property. No more waiting I get to start landscaping this year!

We bought 6 1/2 acres about 4 years ago (our first house). We just sold an acre & 1/2, paid the rest of our California bills off and now we have money to use on our house and land. It's so exciting. We get to start clearing the brush and planting a natural woodland garden. I want to plant more Rhodies, Azaleas, Hydrangea, bulbs (every kind I can think of), Japanese Maples, Heleborus, coral bells, fuschia, tea tree, lots of ornamental conifers, and I really want to plant a lavender field in my front yard. I already have a border with roses, lavender and bulbs in it (Tall bearded Iris). So now I want to turn my entire front yard in to a lavender field, I can't wait.

I just wanted to share this with you. I will share pictures as we get further into it.

When I feel spring coming I have to plant or I’ll go crazy!
