Posted - May 10 2006 : 10:56:49 AM well ladies i need your help. Ants have moved in next to my stawberries and i dont know how to get rid of them. My Pa said that his mom used to use something like chili powder. I really dont want to use any chemicals. I have read about the boiling water treatment but i dont know if I should do that by the strawberry patch. I must get those pesky guys out of there!!

Posted - May 10 2006 : 11:24:45 PM I don't think they will hurt your strawberries, but if you must rid yourself of them, get some Diatomaceous earth. It is totally organic and will rid you of a number of beasts. The only downside is it must stay dry to be effective. But you can fix that with a plastic sheet at night or during showers. |
