Hey, farmgirls! I simply LOVE the idea of planting those darling little hens & chicks in an old boot. I have the picture but no instructions... My thumb is only newly green, and I was wondering if I had to do anything special before plantin' the ole gals.... Do they need a pot, or do I just fill a boot with soil? Gravel? Secrets? :)

I would be grateful for any help and suggestions. Everyone have a lovely Tuesday!!!

Joyride on the learning curve!

Bucketfuls of thanks, sister. First stop, boots filled with happy lil' hens & chicks.... Next stop, Victory Garden! I think it's turnin' greener by the minute.....

I think I'd just put a little gravel in the bottom of that boot and fill er up with soil, and plant away. Those things will grow anywhere, I think!! Have fun and make that thumb turn green!!

live, laugh, love
