Posted - May 15 2010 : 2:42:57 PM We thought we had the snail population under control, but no. They are all over the gardens. They are cutting the tomato plants. Enough! I'd have to sit out there for days to catch them all. Marly

Posted - May 15 2010 : 6:03:29 PM Try trapping the slugs! Get an orange or grapefruit, cut in half. Eat the fruit inside yourself, however, leave some of the juice inside the orange/grapefruit peel. Place the peels in various places in your garden, hidden if you choose. The slugs will get trapped inside the peel, and wont be able to climb out. Slugs, apparently, love citrus!
