I don't know why but rain always seems more gentle to a new garden than a sprinkler. It seems like water that is only falling about 2 feet should be gentler than water falling from thousands of feet, but I guess the raindrops are so much smaller so have less weight to them than the water hose.

I am so glad it is raining to today. All of my little seedlings needed the extra help and the seeds I planted yesterday will have nice moist soil now. I can't wait for next weekend. I should have more plants growing!!!

It rained nice and long through the night and well past noon here today. I am so glad we got good rainfall. It's always nice to not have to go out and wrestle with the hose! Nora always wants to play with the water and give the dog a bath. Yesterday it was a mud bath LOL

I'm so glad you got some rain. I do think a gentle shower does so much more than just a direct hit of the water hose. And God does such a better job at watering than I do. He has much more patience. I don't give them enough water and he gives just the right amount.

Yup! I watered the little seeds yesterday and felt bad for "pelting" them from the sprinker. Maybe I need to buy one of those sprayer nozzles that mists instead of sprinkles.

Well rain is wonderful and great for the garden. But new stuff nees a regular sprinkling and if it isn't going to rain----you need a sprinkler. I guess why Mother Nature has rain, cooler weather and seeds going all at the same time---SPRING! LOL MB
