We have ants! Those little itty bitty Black ants are in our hot tub room and bedroom. The snow just melted in the last week and it has warmed to 50ish outside. There is no food in either room so it can't be food related. I have even found them under the tub civer and floating in the tub. My Dh says they are coming from the plants because I take them outside during the summer. But I disagree. If they were in the plants why were they not out all winter. The room is heated and always above 65. I have tried Toro but they have no interset in it. Any other suggestions. Mid March is Way to early to be dealing with these little guys here in Wisconsin.

I have a friend who is having an ant problem in his bathroom and bedroom too. I just forwarded him the methods you described.

Thanks,

I just read about this new, non-toxic idea, 1/2 cup honey disolved in 1/2 cup water, drop on dry sponge in a saucer, put in area of ants, when they are all stuck to honey, drop sponge in boiling water and repeat as needed. I, myself have used cornmeal for years, sprinkle where ants are, inside and out, they eat it, can't digest it, and die.
