I'm at a loss for a farmgirl gift using ideas from the latest MJB mag. I have a little antique flower pot, and I was thinking ... add a bag of potting soil and some seeds that would grow indoors on a windowsill. Can any of you give me some suggestions for a small indoor plant that would be appropriate in a small pot? Thanx in advance, Sharon

Thanx for the suggestions Linda. How long do primroses take to germinate? I'm thinking of sending the seeds for my farmgirl friend to plant herself.

How about Primroses? They can be enjoyed in the pot until late spring, then planted outside! I have also grown miniature carnations in pots as well.
