Where are your unusual and creative places to plant your vegetables, herbs or flowers? I have an old rusty fire pit thingy. I am going to have my husband drill some holes in the bottom and plant some flowers. Farmgirl Kim

Old work boots, a pair of blue jeans with the legs tied at the ankles and cinched closed at the waist filled with soil...punch holes and plant along the legs, a hay bale (jam a long screwdriver in, rotate the screwdriver to make the hole bigger, pour soil in and plant...do that all over. I had one that looked like a big green head when I planted onion sets in one. A hollowed out tree stump filled with soil.

Prayer costs nothing, but is worth the most.
