Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 07:52:03 AM Anyone know where I can get some plans for a mini greenhouse that can be made from cheap materials? I'd like to set one up on my deck for herbs but I can't afford to make a fancy one. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Posted - Feb 22 2010 : 7:30:46 PM A mini greenhouse... I'd think just fashioning something out of wire hangers and 6mil plastic or something would work on a pot set up.
My version of a small greenhouse includes 2 cattle panels, some stakes/rebar, 6mil plastic, and an old screen door hubby thinks he's going to attach (I'd be perfectly happy with just plastic flaps). Something along these lines... http://omelays.blogspot.com/search/label/greenhouse

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 08:35:05 AM We are using PVC and plastic to do mini-green houses over some of the raised beds while it's still so cold. For little herb pots you can use recycled milk jugs or 2L pop bottles. Lean a window over a box. Pretty much what ever you can imagine!
Search for PVC greenhouses online.... there are some very creative and easy ideas!
