Posted - Apr 16 2006 : 12:45:59 PM I am so SORRY. I checked the trees last night to make sure they were still ok and the gel that they were in was dried up & rubbery. I read through all the lit to see what it was but found nothing about that. I e-mailed my aunt who has been doing this forever & she said they cant be shipped again they wont make it and if not planted w/in 24 hrs. they will die but to be sure check w/ arbor people Monday. I will first thing. I AM SO SORRY!! I shouldn't have opened my big mouth but I didnt expect any problems. If they tell me it will be ok & what to do then I WILL ship them ASAP. Again, Im so very sorry I hope no one is upset w/ me for this. I will find out what to do 1st. thing Mon.

Posted - Apr 17 2006 : 6:38:35 PM Rhonda that is so funny. I contacted them today & a tree specialist is getting back to me. I stuck them in water in the fridge.

Posted - Apr 17 2006 : 1:15:52 PM I ordered trees once from the abor society too~~ They sent me 5-6 thin little sticks with a root or two coming out the bottoms. I gave them to a friend and she gave them to her mom...who planted a couple of them and actually got trees out of those sticks... Jan

Posted - Apr 17 2006 : 11:38:44 AM Michele, Sorry to hear your trees didn't make it. Funny story... maybe it will cheer you. A dear friend of mine took advantage of the abor day society(?) offer of six FREE trees. On the day they were to be delivered to the post office, she arranged for two big stong men with a pickup truck to meet her at the PO to help with the loading. Imagine her suprise when the trees were delivered in a teeny little box she could tuck under her arm and carry to the car! I still laugh thinking about it! Rhonda

Posted - Apr 16 2006 : 4:04:54 PM Hey no problem!! I just appreciate the thought and hopefully you can still save the trees. Thanks for the offer anyways. It was really nice of you. Take care, Luzy
