I'm beginning to gather my seeds for this summer--checking to see if anyone has some they'd like to trade--sometimes I don't need a whole packet of seeds and could use just a few from a packet (how many summer squash plants does a family of 5 need?!) If anyone has seeds they'd like to trade some of, I don't have seeds to exchange, but I do have tons of heavy fabric which I make LARGE grocery bags from (they hold LOTS of groceries, even lots of cans/jars, etc)--here's a pic of some of mine (a little dirty, since they "live" under the backseat of my car :)

Kinds of seeds I'm wanting for this year include:
beans (bush, pole, wax), soup beans (dry), carrots, cucumbers, lettuce/greens/spinach, melons, snap/snow peas, squash (summer and winter), swiss chard, tomatillos, turnips, peppers (regular, banana, and jalapeno), kohlrabi, radishes, pumpkins, sunflowers and other easy-growing flowers

If you're interested, let me know!

I'll look through my cabbage in my mish-mash of seed packets from last year. I think I still have it! If not, I can gladly package you up some of my extras this year and send them your way!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

Lillian--let me know if you didn't get my email, I got a thing back from your email saying it wouldn't accept it without authorization or something like that.

Lillian and Kim, I emailed you. Debbie, I'm ashamed to say I don't really know much about okra, does it even grow in Ohio? And what do you use it for/what's it like?

Sheila- I just cleaned out my seed bin and I have a bunch of partial packets of seeds. Some are a few years old, but I am sure most will germinate. If you are interested in them just let me know and you can have the whole shebang. There is a wide variety of seeds-celery, brussel sprouts, tomatos, tomatillos, cabbage, radish, squash, and a few others. The only catch is you have to take them all.

I just ordered my seeds, when I get them I can divide some up for you. I order purple pole beans, squash, and some lettuces. You can email me at krbrown@rocketmail.com and we can exchange mailing addresses if you are interested.
