i was having a snack of rye triscuits, laughing cow cheese and an apple..and i found a sprouted apple seed. I have a HUGE garden are of my property..a couple of acres of mixed beds around my house..and i have 3 apple trees grown from seeds..so..i couldn't resist stepping out into the garden and putting in my sprouted apple seed..and a couple extra for good measure..

i have been planting trees on my 5 acre property for 38 years..so this is not unusual for me..but these are my favorite apples..they don't generally come true from seed but they generally do have some of the qualities of their parents..so i'm hoping in a few years to have a little apple tree from my sprouted seed.

I had some tomatos a couple of years ago that I picked out of my garden, sliced and found sprouted seeds inside, never saw that before or since, and no one I've asked has either.

Well , how cute it that. Hope the little trees grows big and strong.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
