The start of my bounty. Eight different varieties of heirlooms are in this pic. 2 diff peppers. 2 different squash. There was no room on my table for the potatoes and onions....

on a side note...it only took me a year but I finally figured out the picture posting thingie!!! YAY!

What a great bounty! Those midwestern gardens are the best. Good for you growing it all from seed. We are just on the way home from Illinois where our family is, and their gardens were awesome too. It has been a good year there with lots of rain and cool nights. Is that how your weather has been too?

What a beautiful picture your veggies make! Hubby asked me tonight why our homegrown acorn squash taste so different from what we've bought in the store in the past. He's hooked....grin.

Why are heirlooms so much prettier than plain old garden variety veggies? Those are beautiful, Dawn. Good work, girl!

Whatcha gonna be doing with all that booty now?

Absolutely Beautiful!!!! SO inspiring. The tomatoes I have aren't red yet in their greenhouse (I live on the coast). I didn't get to "go off" like I planned this year either Alee,..oh well look out for next year right? Good job Dawn!
