Posted - Aug 22 2009 : 1:38:35 PM What a great bounty! Those midwestern gardens are the best. Good for you growing it all from seed. We are just on the way home from Illinois where our family is, and their gardens were awesome too. It has been a good year there with lots of rain and cool nights. Is that how your weather has been too?

Posted - Aug 21 2009 : 10:58:07 PM What a beautiful picture your veggies make! Hubby asked me tonight why our homegrown acorn squash taste so different from what we've bought in the store in the past. He's hooked....grin.
