Posted - Aug 18 2009 : 07:15:01 AM Last night my neice gave me a bag of heirloom tomatoes, and told me how to save the seeds for my garden next year. They come from her grandmother, who is Amish and lives in Illinois, and they are over 60 years old. I certainly hope I can get them to continue in Florida. It will be my first try at growing heirloom tomatoes!

Posted - Aug 18 2009 : 09:58:06 AM I am going to try to grow heirloom tomatoes next year since I have had such a problem with blight with the ones I have gotten from the local green house. I will have to be ordering my seeds though. Your a lucky gal to have gotten some from your niece. You'll have to let us know next year how they work out for you.
