Posted - Aug 17 2009 : 3:55:37 PM Calendula flowers are in full bloom. I made an all purpose cream with them in the past. This year my pre-k class made tortillas with sprinkled flower petals and ate the healthy snack. I also arranged the flowers in a blue vase for my home. You can see the ideas and instructions on my blogs.

Posted - Aug 17 2009 : 6:25:40 PM That looks really good. I will have to try the tortillas. I need the flowers, though. Could other flowers be used instead? And I am going to make the lavendar extract and cookies, too. I just love your blogs. Very informative and cute.
