Posted - Aug 04 2009 : 5:30:59 PM Soapy water spray is really good (bad) for aphids. And of course it won't hurt you. Sherrie's spray sounds good (bad) too. MB

Posted - Aug 04 2009 : 3:38:15 PM Jerry Baker has wonderful remedies for all sorts of garden pests- here's his Amazing Aphid Antidote recipe: 1 small onion, chopped fine,2 med cloves of garlic, chopped fine,1 Tbsp baby shampoo or liquid dish soap,2 cups water. Put all ingredients in a blender & blend on high. Let mixture sit overnight & strain thru a coffee filter. Pour the liquid into a handheld mist sprayer, and spray/mist lightly once a week. Hoping this helps you. (tho I would rinse the sprouts really good before cooking!) *laughs*
