Posted - Jul 17 2009 : 6:07:18 PM I just don't know what it is but I CAN GROW TOMATOES...I think at one time there must have been an outhouse back that way. 2-years ago I only planted two tomatoe plants just like this year, and the one plant produced over 60 tomatoes and we don't even like tomatoes...it started out as a joke just to see if I could grow them!
I give away tons every summer.
Nothing like a freshly picked tomatoe off the vine presented to someone who LOVES tomatoes. Bliss I am told! ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)
I think they are very pretty and I love the color of RED ! ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)

Posted - Jul 17 2009 : 2:54:18 PM O.k., I am SO jealous of your tomoatoes!!! I'm lucky to even have green ones on my vines right now let alone ones that are turning red! Our weather here makes for a looonnngg cool season- surely not the favorite type of tomaotoes! On the bright side though, one of our plantings of shelling peas is already done! I guess mild temperatures are good for something. Anyway, your garden looks great!
