seen gooseberries the size of small apples!!! These certainly aren't the ones I remember my grandmother growing!! I got the seeds from Baker Creek and the bushes have done great....but the size of small apples and still growing????? I finally picked a few today, a little one, a big one and a medium one....and.....the biggest one was the best and the closest to tasting ripe, yet still much firmer than a gooseberry which leads me to believe that they aren't ripe yet, despite their huge size! Anyone else have these huge gooseberries? Or am I actually leaving them on the bush too long...or is normal??? Can anyone help?

I had some gooseberry bushes at another house years ago and they never got bigger than a blueberry. Yours sound huge.
