We have been away on vacation and just came back. It has rained here most of the time we were away and it's still raining. It rained most of the weekend and will continue until Thursday. There has only been 4 days without rain in June and it rained most of April and May. I can't take anymore rain. We are in desperate need of sun. My peppers and melons are not doing well in this weather. Today it's only 64 degrees.

Someone please send some sun our way.

Thank you ladies for sending some sun our way. We had two whole days of sunshine. Today it is raining again and will be until Friday afternoon. I am hoping that we will have many more sunny days after this. I am thrilled for the ones we just had.

Beverly it is just horrible with this weather. Rather depressing and it keeps you from getting things done. How are you doing? How long will you be in MA?

My garden does need alot of sun. I think I am going to lose my peppers, melons and gourds. :( Hopefully things will get better.

oh my gosh I just looked at the weather for Massachusetts---we are still headed for more rainy days---I don't believe this.....I don't want to believe this...Ruth got any good weather jokes?

My poor garden is going to be a total flop, isn't it? The zucchini and tomato plants have blossomed but thats as far as they have gotten.

Sorry for belly aching----but the eastern part of the states has not seen much sun for a long time.

We will send you some Kansas sun too. Between 95 and 100 for the last week and the 7 day forcast says more of the same. I went out at 7:00 this a.m. to pick greenbeans, came in at 8:30. Didn't get them all picked but I couldn't stand it any longer. Will try to go out for maybe 10 minutes at a time and try to get the rest picked.

I wish I could enjoy the seasons more. Always too hot, cold, wet, dry, windy, or something. Always wishing for what it is not.

Like Cherry, I'd sure like to send some of our HOT sun your way. 99 degrees today! I can't even go outside for any length of time. The sun will bake you!

Ruth, I sure wish I could box up some of our sunshine and send your way! We had the rainiest May on record and several days of rain in early June, but since then it's dried up and no relief from the 90+ degree temps! I am sooo missing those cloudy rainy days as well as my garden and flowers! There never is a happy medium, is there?
