Posted - Feb 12 2006 : 7:51:28 PM After nearly drowning the latter part of December and most of January, we have been basking in the sunshine for the past week. The violets and snowdrops are in full bloom, and our first daffodil opened yesterday! I've mowed grass, picked up limbs, and today I pruned the raspberries. It was glorious to be outside soaking up the warmth from the sunshine. We've had several lambs born this past week and the grass is growing, so it appears that spring has sprung. However, western Oregon is notorious for "teasing" us with spring in February, only to blow in a few more winter storms from now until at least April. Oh well, we'll enjoy it while we can! |

Only wish I had baby lambs romping in my fields!! Hoping or a warm day tomorrow so I can paint my sweet pea trellis. Loving the sun for now!
