Posted - Jun 12 2009 : 06:34:51 AM Cherry Giant or Giant Cherry (not 100% sure which is correct) It is said that this variety is thrown into dormancy by drought instead of cold and I was thinking this may be the variety I need to try down here. If anyone knows anything about this variety or where I could get some I would greatly appreciate it as I'm just itching to make some of my Aunt Ethel's rhubarb pie! |

Posted - Jun 13 2009 : 07:01:12 AM Boy, still no luck. I've had to have searched 50 or 60 seed companies! I keep reading the same info, though. Numereous sites have stated it's a good variety for mild winters they just never say where to get it.... |
