My Hallie came in the other day and told me she has decided what she's going to be when she grows up- a bee charmer. Then she pulled out her glass Yoohoo bottle filled with clover flowers and honeybees. I did finally convince her to turn those bees loose.

I was telling my friend about it later on the phone. Her sone just thinks the world of Hallie, but he is terrified of bees. If he'd a seen her he would of flipped and ran for the hills. heeheee

Thanks for the advice Pam and Melanie. I hope the county agent can help with the bees, they surely didn't help with the alligators. We still have four of them in the lake.

Sorry girls I'm no help with bees. Marly I think Pam has a good idea. I would maybe start witha search of beekeepers in your area and see what they suggest.

I'm not Melanie but if I had a hive in one of my trees, I'd call someone to try to move it for me. Call your county extension office or good search bee keepers in your area. One of them should have some suggestions about who to call.

Melanie:
I have a beehive way up in a Cypress tree. My question is: Do bees move on during the winter? I cannot mow in that area or the bees get pisssssed off. LOL I usually wait until it is almost dark to mow. Should I try to get a bee keeper to come and remove the hive or not? This hive is very high up, I don't know how or who could remove it. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
