Today is my birthday and Kansas came over and brought me her journal notebook for me to keep for my present! She is so sweet. I told her I could read a few pages each day. I found the cutest little poem-song I thought I would share with ya'll, since it has to do with gardening. It's sung to the tune of "Row Row Row Your Boat".

Grow grow grow your plants,
Grow with lots of care,
Carefully, carefully place your plants
Where they will get air.

Grow, grow, grow your plants,
Growing can be fun,
Carefully, carefully place your plants
Where they will get sun.

Grow, grow, grow your plants,
Never let them spoil,
Carefully, carefully place your plants
In a healthy soil.

Grow, grow, grow your plants,
One more thing to do,
Carefully, carefully give your plants
Lots of water, too!

And I typed all this while answering addition flash cards! Wow, my mind is still functioning and I can do 2 things at once. I didn't miss any!

Cherry, she didn't write this. She just had the poem and colored the page in her journal at school. I'm sorry if I made it sound like she wrote it. She does come up with a lot of neat things to say and she does make up little songs, but she's not that good yet!

Kristin, how sweet. I wrote down the words. Will have to learn them fast because I'll be singing row row your boat the rest of the day.

LOL, Kris, that's great! Now I have a new song to sing to my plants while I'm gardening! Please tell Little Miss Kansas, the budding songwriter, thank you!

And what a special gift for you! She must really, really love you! It never even crossed my mind when I was younger to give my diary/journal to ANYbody! I didn't have the self-confidence she has!
