Posted - May 04 2009 : 9:18:33 PM I am so excited :)
I was at the Feed Store with my husband this morning and while he was checking out tools, I was checking out plants.
I found:
~Chocolate Mint (In Vanilla ice cream. Yum!) ~Tangerine Sage (This smells WONDERFUL! I am thinking it would make a great tea)
I can't wait to plant them and was even more excited when the tag said that they were both perennials :)
Just had to share :)

Posted - May 05 2009 : 6:23:01 PM Thanks Ladies :)
Abigail, I sort of have an herb garden :) Some of my plants died (not sure why) so I am starting to replace them. Dawn, thanks for the tip :)
I have had the Pineapple Sage before and loved it. When I saw the Tangerine I just had to get it :)
Now I need to find Apple Mint :)

Posted - May 05 2009 : 09:10:32 AM I'd love some tangerine sage! I have the pineapple sage, too, and it's soooo good in sweet tea!

Posted - May 05 2009 : 06:00:25 AM Good for you,Sharon. I just bought the chocolate mint about a month or so back but never have seen the tangerine sage, I bet it's wonderful. You'll have to let us know. Do you have an herb garden or do you keep them in pots? I kind of have both going on. I was disappointed this year because I did not find any pineapple mint to try. I saw bunches last year, I should have grabbed it then. |
