I haven't been here in a while, but last summer we built a home and we lived in our barn. Now we are making the "yard" in to a yard. Last weekend I took some of the logs (smaller ones) and edged my garden with them. I am hoppy with the way it turned out. Now I hope something will grow!

Check it out on my blog.

Becky,

Nice place you have. It looks like ya'll have done alot of work. It's nice to have kids to help out. I love the tree trunk gate in the garden. It will look good with some kind of climbing vines on it. The only thing about the logs you have near the foundation of the house is they will probably attract termites. You might have already thought of that. But I have always heard to not have wood that close to the house. It does look good, though.

When are ya'll moving in to your house? I think that's neat to live in a barn. I'm always telling my grandkids to shut the doors, do you think you live in a barn or something? If you ever say that the kids can say yes, we do!

All the pictures are so good. Thanks for sharing.

Kris
