An older lady we know has a very beautiful yellow rose plant, little roses, huge plant. She knows I love them and told me that if I want to "dig up some of the suckers" I can feel free to. SO--what does that mean? I don't know anything about roses, so if anyone can give me some info, that'd be great!

Does it have long canes that touch the ground? And have any of them rooted there?
