Posted - Apr 11 2009 : 4:54:12 PM This afternoon Tammy from Scottsville came over and she is just as sweet as can be. We dug plants and she brought me herbs for my herb garden. I really love talking to her she knows a lot about plants. We are so looking forward to our fall gathering, Hopefully we will get some planning done next week end

Posted - Apr 16 2009 : 06:59:28 AM Ok...maple table tops? That sounds too intriguing. Please Lisa, do go on...
Miss Wilma, will you be coming up the night before like you have in the past? If so, I can come out and help because Jus will be working. I can put Vi in the sling and we'll go, go, go.
Quiet moments are quality moments, that's for sure. I do understand that. I'm certainly inclined to pair down since the baby--things that used to be important to me simply aren't anymore. There's a whole world to show her and I want to make that a priority.

Posted - Apr 14 2009 : 6:12:36 PM You mean I went off and forgot some plants! Me and Eric worked all Sunday morning planting everything. I had a funny feeling I had left a bag in the yard somewhere though. You were moving to fast for me to keep up with you! I'm glad you have the cabin rented. You can store my little idea away in case you need it!

Posted - Apr 14 2009 : 4:13:03 PM Good thought Tammy but I have rented it again to the same person since you were here, but if I can ever be of help to any of you girls I am sure I can find room so just come on over anytime sweetie, Oh by the way I found some sacks of plants we forgot, I hauled 500 pounds ofsand for the rock pathtoday, got the last wheelbarrow load off , went to move it and it started going sideways. I broke the handle off trying to hold on. Just found another job for my sweet husband, making me a handle. Farm girls gotta have their wheel barrows right. Will be doing the pluming tomorrow and install cabinets wont be long now, then I am starting on the sewing house

Posted - Apr 14 2009 : 1:57:46 PM Miss Wilma, I had the best idea for your cabin. You should put together "retreat weekends". The girls could arrive on Friday around lunch and leave on Sunday afternoon. And you could plan and teach a bunch of different things like sewing projects, wood projects or anything else your creative mind want's to share! The cabin is big enough to hold several people(at least six to eight women)and they could bring their own food and cook it in the kitchen, so you wouldn't have to worry about feeding them. I think that would be a perfect way to make some good money and share your beautiful cabin house. And I would be the first to sign up!
