( I also posted this in the barter section ) I have 24 strawberry plants .They are the everbearing and do well for me.. They are last years baby plants. They may bear a few berries this year and then next summer will be producing fully. I am looking for daylily bulbs in trade for them . I will trade all 24 in one trade ......or 2 trades with a dozen plants in each. I will pull them when traded and ship UPS in a plastic bag with some damp dirt. They will need to go in ground soon as you get them . ( usa shipping only)

Strawberries arrived! I had been at the hospital when they arrived, but planted them in HUGE garden pots right away this morning. They are so healthy looking!!!

Thanks so much!

I have sent you a check for 10.95 postage like we agreed and will post it this afternoon.

Big hug!

It will live quite happily in the pot. The runners it produces can be taken off and planted in new pots. I have some that have been in concrete planters for several years nad actually produce better than the beds do

I have a strawberry plant in a big pot and it is producing now. My question is will it continue to live in that pot or will I need to replant every year?

they are the everbearing variety.I got them from wal mart 2 summers ago .. Dont do many berries the first year you plant but 2nd year i had tons of berries. Nothing bothers them..They love the cold weather actually and multiplied like crazy over the winter.. I never knew they where this easy to grow. I went out and pulled the ones i am shipping today. If you would like some I can get another 2 dozen. They had grown in a big mat over the winter and i wasnt sure what i had left in them

Lisa,
I am planning on buying some everbearing strawberries for my garden this spring. I have never grown strawberries before. What is the name of your "prolific" strawberry plants???

Thanks Lisa!
