It is getting close to that time of year when folks start pruning rose bushes.
I was wondering if any of you gals had some old heirloom type roses(bush or climbers/doesn't matter) that you generally trim back at the start of Spring...and if I could swap out a few heirloom vegetable seeds for a wee rose cutting or two from any named heirloom varieties anyone may have?
Thanks in advance.I'm wanting to have a large "farm girl friend" garden at my new home and figured that now at the start of Spring would be a good time to check in to see if anyone had rose cuttings.
---------------
6 inch long cuttings/cut on a diagonal please and wrapped in wet paper towel to which a baggy has been placed around and secured with twisty tie or rubber band)

Tina,
We are still a bit cold here, but I have a beautiful yellow climbing rose that I will get you a clipping of...
