My neighbor has just recently improved their cesspool which connects with my "wetland". Any opinions as to what best to plant in this area? Research to date suggests grasses - I would like to do so but prefer not to have to maintain it or leave it for livestock to forage (bacteria concerns).

Might check with your county ag agent. I don't have a clue.
