and I don't have anything to do with it! I don't have enough houseplants to spread it around. Nor do I have a place to lay out my worms and separate them from the compost.

Can I just keep adding newspaper and feeding them until spring when I can use the compost on my garden? Any other ideas?

Yep that is the stackable one...5 bins. I really like it. I might would move yours to the basement anyway and just keep an eye on their moisture level.. Don't let them dry out. It would be cooler on them I'm guessing here, and slow down their growth until you can do something with them in the spring.

May the good Lord bless and keep you.

I only have a 1 bin system - homemade tote. I'm saving up to get the 5 bin one. I think that's the stackable one, right?

I have my worms in the dining room right now. I'd move them to the cool basement, but we have a dehumidifier down there.

Hi City Chick.....I have a five bin system (one stacked onto another) that is wintering over in my root cellar. At 40 to 50 degrees they don't eat as much...but don't let them get below 40 degrees and I feed mine "wormy babies" about every 2-3 weeks in the winter. I would think that adding newpaper (do you have any dried tree leaves for a difference?) and feeding until sping would be fine.

May the good Lord bless and keep you.
