My fevered brain is off on a tangent...a herb tangent. Since we have a most excelled and learned scholar on all things herbale, our own farmgirl extroidarnaire Ms. BlueEgg Babe Sue, how bout starting a Herb Thread? Carol are ya listening up there? Maybe a herb associated with a season, holiday, ceremony, a herb of the week, herb of the month thing??? Sue, you are probably shoutin at the computer saying "that meadowlarkskie pillin more puter time on me!!!!" You have such a wellspring of knowledge me lady!!! This farmgirl wants to partake!!! I am sure others would love too, and can join in on the talk (Lorij, ect...) maybe some culinary tips too? to think that nasty wereman/wolf love plant got me started...full moon FEVAH!!!!! here's a link on the wolfbane from little ole HGTV! Surprise! http://www.hgtv.com/gl_plants_weeds/article/0,1785,HGTV_3617_3290183,00.html-37-k-

YAY!!
Wishes granted!! So cool!
I am conjuring up a few herbal topics but have to limit my forum time at the moment due to preparation for holiday craft shows and web orders.
The next few weeks are the culmination of a year's worth of growing, harvesting, preparing and packaging. It is the financial bulk of my year so I must try to stay focused... as much as I would love to sit with my tea and talk herbs with you girls!!! so VERY cool.
I am hoping that by the beginning of January we can try an herb of the week chat.
Please send me some ideas and I will file them in the old thinking cap while I work away these next few weeks. I can't wait to start!

COOL! I'm so anxious to learn about herbs and their uses. So I went to the new place on the forum and no one has posted there yet. BEB where are ya? We could have an herb of the week?!?

Carol! Lon Chaney is purrin like a kitten, drinking his herbal tea...resting his fevered hairy brow on a lavender pillow. Thanks so much for heading the call of the "wild ones"

Okay girls, I saw, I came, I conquered! There's a new category on the forum: Herbal Wisdom. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

It's about time!!! Yeah......I've tried and so has Blue Egg Babe to get a herbal thread going, I even suggested it to Mary Jane because I was really surprised we didn't have one already? But thank you Meadowlark for pushing the idea. Count me in, herbs are my passion, and even though I'm not as advanced as BEB, I can share what I know and love and look forward to the herbal gifts from others in return! Just in time for the holidays too, Meadowlark, you made my day!!!
