I know that may sound insane, most people just pluck it out and trash it but my one chicken gets out and she dug up the area where all my medicinal chickweed grows. Sooooo..... if you have any chickweed seed that you can share, I will gladly pay you. I think this time I will fill one of my raised garden beds with it.

So sorry, I can't find any seeds. Just lots of new chickweed greens. Good in salad.

Hi Lisa - Chickweed is considered by some to be a weed and is a plant with many medicinal properties really called Stellaria media - by the way, chickens love the fresh plant, my one chicken gets out of her yard and eats it and tore up a whole patch

Ok gals...I have now have the "chicks", I also have a ton of "weeds", and I've been saving "seeds" for years now, but what is chickweed seed? Is this something I need to know about for my chickens?

I'll be in the garden tomorrow and check. I just saw some more growing in a couple places. It loves the spring & fall.
