I noticed the blooms were different colors, is that common? I had different shades of pink and yellow blooms. Will that affect the cotton the plant will produce? I have never seen cotton growing, just had to give it a try. I am a fiber addict and spinner... I raise sheep for wool and I just had to try cotton.

I love to spin too and have sheep but never have grown cotton or any other fiber plant (I want to try flax sometime) so I love hearing about this!!
