Posted - Aug 23 2008 : 7:16:26 PM So this is probably a really stupid question, especially considering that I have a farm (more like a petting zoo really!), but how do I know when to pick my corn? And does anyone else have trouble with only half of the kernels ripening on each ear???? Thanks so much,

Posted - Aug 23 2008 : 7:22:13 PM The corn is usually ready when the silks are brown. You can peel the top back to check them if you wish and if they're not ready, just pat the leaves back around the ear and leave them a little longer.
