Posted - Aug 13 2008 : 7:56:31 PM That's way cool. I like it. We didn't eliminate our driveway, but we shortened it - by about 45 feet! We have a little ways to carry groceries and stuff, but so what?! Our house stays cooler and it's less dusty (it was only a hard-packed dirt driveway, anyway). But the new side yard is so nice now.

Posted - Aug 13 2008 : 1:05:27 PM I love this! I assume that the single-car parking is for guests, as this family does not own a car. And it won't need to be plowed in the winter, since they don't have a car that needs to go in the garage. It certainly looks great, especially since that little house seemed to be swollowed up by that old driveway.
Makes you think.
