I just pulled up my last tomato plant. The flood just decimated my garden. I have one bell pepper plant left and one really sick looking banana pepper plant. I always count on my garden for veggies in the summer. Boohoo. My heart is broken.

So sorry about your veges. I can send you some sun dried tomatos in about a months time if you want.
You might want to look into the greenhouse plans that are in mary janes newest mag. It might help you extend your growing season into the fall and winter.

That's so sad, Patsy. Maybe you could plant some in pots that you could take inside under lights for the winter. I know it means a long time waiting for tomatoes, but better late than never?!

Oh no Patsy! I sure wish I could send you some tomatoes. I guess the shipping would make that prohibitive. But then, mine arnt' ripe yet so I am counting my tomatoes before they are ripe. Dang it!! I bet Marly is right..you will get extra next year!!

Next year you'll have lots of tomatoes!!!!! Sorry to hear about the flood. I know all to well what a flood can do. In 2005 our house was flooded from the waters of hurricane Rita. We had 5 feet of water in our house. Had to gut the entire house. Now it's beautiful. Next year, your tomatoes will be more beautiful than ever. Have a great happy day!

That's a real bummer Patsy. I'm sorry to hear your veggies drowned. I hope you'll be able to get some fall plantings in now.

patsy i am so sorry,that is a real bummer isnt it? i am afraid to see what the price of produce will be with all the flooding in the lower 48! we havent had floods but exceptionally cool weather that is causing our garden to struggle. peace connie in alaska |
