oh my gosh! i was thrilled when we arrived at the cabins after Kathy Sugarbucket had finished nailing up some 'furring strips' (olde wood) between the cracks .. i kinda' like the soft mossy green shade .. but it was just toooooo plain .. didn't compliment the olde log cabins. was considering painting this RED.

but when i saw how these strips 'softened' it and melded in with the logs .. i was thrilled. there are a couple that had been 'inside' wood that needs to mellow out a little more .. or kathy said if i'm in a hurry .. she can 'grey' them out for me.

i'm thrilled.
