Do any farmgirls have some hints and tips for me to grow strawberries in a pot? How much tending and care do they need? And how much of a crop do you get per say 1 foot across tub?

I'm not sure, Alee, I've always tried to do them in the large strawberry pot, but birds, snakes and whoever else ate them :) I gave up a few years ago. I know there's netting but that's too easy, right?
