I'm a tad poor this winter so I'm having fun looking through all of the seeds catalogues and on line and finding bargains and sales and buying my seeds a little at a time. This is being more fun! I am really reading about each and every plant and visualizing it in my sleeping little garden. I know I'd save on shipping buying them all at once probably, but what a lovely way to beat the after holiday blues! AND I'm loving the visualizing so much this way. Day dreams are an important part of a healthy diet! While I love the snow, I'm loving looking forward to spring too =)

Thought I'd share my chirpiness with ya'all

I majestically call my little shack "Wyndholme Hill Farmette" even though I don't own the property =)I can't resist calling my borrowed micro-farm something grand.
You have wonderful seeds, books and other goodies in your Garden Goose shop, thank you for letting me know.
I have to have some of those books! Keep stocking the goodies Girl!

the pot roast was so good..my crew went back for seconds...and wiped out that pot roast in no time I think they'd have licked the platter clean if mama hadn't have been watching..ha..it was one of those pre seasoned one's from Publix, but I added more baby carrots to it and baked covered for 2 1/2 hrs. ooh yum.
Today it rained all day, so we all worked on clearing out our garage..big time!..it needed it.We don't have much storage space in our house..and with 5 folks..well..things can sometimes accumulate..and me..I can't stand clutter.Hauled a van load of nice items to the thrift shop, and the furniture items that we could not get Salvation Army, Rescue Mission, or Good Will dispatch out today for..well..we just said "phooey" and went ahead and set on the concrete pad for the county to pick up tomorrow.
Too bad..as there was a bunk bed frame, a day bed frame, a full size mattress in great shape and frame, and lots of other stuff, but we had to get it out as we are getting a new furniture delivery tomorrow /new couch. So my old/(in great shape still though)..leather sofa will be stored in the garage until I run an ad in the paper for it.
But it was a much needed clear out..and a good start to the new year..cleaning out the clutter..woohoo!
And hubby did a little yard work ...even in the rain...trimmed a few tree branches by the side of the house/garage.
I wasn't able to finish laying out the mulch in the rose garden as I had several errands/deliveries of sign shop orders to run.
But..once the weather clears out..you'll find me..doing something garden related/yard clean up related...on my little "farmette"
(and yes..I like the sound of that..."Farmette"..ha..yep..as the saying goes..you can take a girl out of the Country..but ya can't take the Country out of the girl..yeehaw!)

I love reading about all of the yard and garden work that you did. We are under a feet or more of drifted snow, ice coated and in the 20's here at my little home =P
I hope that your pot roast was yummy and that you have a good night.

Tina, you have a great little shop!. As soon as the man with all the credit cards gets home, I'll make an order. I think it is good luck to order from friends. The garden is that much better for buying from another farm girl =) I love the toga eggplant and have been looking all over for it.
Thank you ~* HUG *~

chirp, chirp, Annika! Thanks for keeping spring in our minds today, especially since we had snow flurries here in Virginia.
Maybe you can share with another farmgirl and split the packets of seeds to make your $$$ go farther?
