Room To Grow |
Posted - Nov 29 2007 : 4:36:59 PM Hello Ladies, I am wondering if anyone grows xmas trees? If you do how many acres do you have and are you a cut your own and go farm? Or do you sell to a company? Can you tell me how much you get per acre or per tree? My Son-in-law has land in Kentucky and he is looking to put something on it that doesnt take much upkeep. So his mom and grandparents can help and he can run it from afar until he and my daughter and grandkids can move up there. Thanks Deborah
I will be changing my city again when we move to our houseboat |

Posted - Nov 29 2007 : 6:09:49 PM I don't personally grow trees, but he should keep in mind they take 6-7 year to come to a harvestable age, and take annual trimming to train/maintain the classic "Christmas tree" shape. So he should keep in mind that he won't be getting an immediate return on investment. But, there's always a market for Christmas trees!
