Posted - Sep 20 2007 : 12:11:53 PM I'm wanting to barter for seeds...anything in the way of flowers/veggies that are maybe a little unique or heirloom types.Annuals or perrenials.Any kind really. Things not easily found at Walmart or Kmart..ha. My goal is to start growing and offering a few of the plants in pots for sale next year..then build up from there..see where things go.(of course I'd grow some "just for me" too) But..I thought that farmgirls would have some tried and tested varieties. So..let's talk/let's barter.

Posted - Sep 24 2007 : 12:50:39 PM Tina, I missed today's outgoing mail so the seeds will be going out tomorrow. I found several others when I went wandering around my yard today at lunch. So, you are getting white columbine, dark blue columbine, Laura Bush Petunia, white snapdragon, red-orange snapdragon, mullein and orange butterfly weed. I may have picked the seedpod from the butterfly weed too soon. The seeds appear to be fully developed by they are not dry yet. I hope all of these grow in your area.

Posted - Sep 20 2007 : 5:44:45 PM Oh, Tina, I wish you had said something before I had scattered all my seeds in the beds. All I have left is some white columbine seeds. I'd be happy to send them to you if you want them.

Posted - Sep 20 2007 : 4:13:22 PM TrueBlue Farmgirl Tina, I have some very wonderful seeds that have been tried and proven to be great. Some giant Zinnia's, the best long striped watermelon, some great cantelope (very sweet), and a few others. I have saved these seeds from my own garden. Just let me know where to send them and I will get them to you.
