Posted - Sep 10 2007 : 08:28:15 AM I found this delightful apron at a garage sale. It is made of heavy cotton (100%) like a denim weight. It is 22 in long. the bib has two pockets and the skirt has 3 pockets--one is open--one has a flap and one is a like a front pants pocket slide in style . It is very short but keeps the front clean and you can carry all your smaller gardening tools. I really like it. My unwilling model, Kylee. She was getting ready for school. MB

Posted - Sep 10 2007 : 2:36:10 PM Oh Nancy Jo, I do dread a heavy wind when in apron. As for the dead mouse---you have such a good eye. haha Dawn. I bet you could make one of these and while from the knees down you will be muddy--your front will be covered. I'm going to try making one with material I already have. MB

Posted - Sep 10 2007 : 11:55:02 AM Beautiful apron & model. I would like something like that to wear when I'm gardening. I always get full of dirt, no matter what it is I'm doing outside! Thanks for sharing you great find with us.

Posted - Sep 10 2007 : 08:48:52 AM Very pretty, Marybeth! Both Kylee and the apron! :D I like the shortness of it - good for kneeling down and standing and not having it get caught under you.
