I have a few pumpkins just budding now, little green and yellow starts...

will any of them make it to jackolantern size, or is it too late in the season for the northwest?

You could try to extend your season with covers on the nights it gets too cold. Watch the Weather Chanel every evening. If the weather chanel says it's going to be 39 degrees or colder; I cover. Half the time it gets colder than what they say. Better safe than sorry.

I think it is too late, but it will be a good experiment, eh?
