What do you all do with your garden peas? Do you shuck them and store them? Eat them all fresh? Preserve them? I have a ton that I harvested today. I am pretty sure I will eat all of these fresh, but since there will be more in the future, I was thinking another option might me nice.

we grow sugar snap peas so they are all eaten before they even make them in the house.

Alee, my peas are done now, but I when I ate some fresh, then froze some, ate some fresh, then froze some. I put them up in lb. bags in the freezer. We had a surpise guest over a few nights ago after I had planned dinner for two, and I pulled out those frozen peas and steamed them. Boy howdy were they to die for--even after being frozen!!!! Our dinner guest is british, and he could not get over those peas!

I freeze my peas. You could try drying some, to use in soups later. Michele

I never seem to get a WHOLE lot more than we can eat fresh...I love peas and so do all the kids. Husband..not so much..but when I do have extras I flash freeze them and then add to my mixed veggies that I can at the end of the season. Nothing like fresh peas cooked and then served with butter and a grating of fresh nutmeg..yum!!
My pea plants are still small..no harvesting yet..I planted them way late. I planted bush peas this year..for the first time. I hope I at least get SOME!!
