Posted - May 05 2007 : 6:42:44 PM Last spring (I think) some one was talking about getting rid of weeds. There was a web site recommended. It was the site of a master gardner. unfortunately I don't remember his name. He had a recipe for a "weed tonic" the recipe had Gin as an ingredient. I copied it but can't find it. Does anyone remember it????? I have searched, but can't find the thread. Any other recommendations to rid of weeds would be appreciated. The woods around us is moving into the yard and I'd like to keep it backed off.
Sorry this is so vague.
THANKS TEDDIE

I am not familiar with the recipe, but I have found white distilled vinegar to work. Be sure and spray it when weeds are dry and it will not rain for a day or two. Watch them turn brown in a few days.
Take care,
