Hello Wildflowers!
The spring barn sale starts today - wow it’s been a lot of work but so fun to see it coming together. It’s been very rainy in East Texas so we have been working in a tarped tent but you know I can’t ever complain about rain (just wish it was falling closer to my home).
Here are a couple photos of our little booth. If you’d like to see more, we are the Vintage Nesters on Instagram and Facebook and my little booth near my home is Daisy’s Corner. I have been posting more photos there.
Will look forward to hanging out here with y’all when this is done! Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying April!

We had a great time - very tiring but fun! I just got home Wednesday and I am working on putting life back together.
We exceeded our sales expectations and that was great but truly the best part was meeting all of the people who came into our tent - and sharing our love for vintage goodness.
We got hit by a freak hail storm on Saturday - it came on so fast we didn’t have time to prepare. My friend lost some inventory as the winds were so strong that they toppled some of our outdoor furniture. Our booth flooded! But we were amazed that as soon as it passed people were right back out shopping in the mess. The other tents shut down but we figured we would just stay open as we cleaned up and started packing.
I think we will try the fall sale in October now that we’ve tried one vendor event - just to see how it goes now that we know what we are doing (and have more time to prepare).

Oh my goodness! What a curve ball! Your resilience in sticking it out after the storm is so inspiring!
