Happy spring! Our weekend will be warm but then our temps will go back down again.

Peeps!

Does anyone have any fun Easter traditions?
It is a little over 2 weeks away and the only "prep" I have done is set aside some plastic eggs from Easters past, so I am looking for a little inspiration.

Weeds were extricated today from the flowerbeds. Lots of work but the end result makes me happy. And I had two helpers today as well.

I used to help my mother in law hide eggs for my niece and nephew. One year I did a scavenger hunt where I gave them the first clue that lead to another egg filled with a treat and another clue. The final clue led to their Easter basket. I even did it for my in laws lol! It was a lot of fun for everyone. Sadly, there are no more Easter egg hunts. My nephew is 24 and my niece is 17. Now we just have lunch.

I think the tradition must’ve started with my dad when he was small and my daughter is doing it still with the girls. The night before Easter you make a “ nest” out of the clothes you wore that day and leave it there for the Easter bunny to leave your basket in. My sister also started leaving bunny tracks across the carpet by dipping her fingers into flour. My kids loved that!
A scavenger hunt sounds like great fun!

I've heard of Santa's boot tracks, but not the Easter bunny's tracks - that's fun!

It's spring in Ohio - it was 79 when I went out to milk the cows yesterday evening. It was 34 when I went out this morning :( We had 1.25" hail with the thunderstorms that rolled through. Did you get any of it Denise?
