I think you all know, I don't buy milk. I drink it right out of our bulk tank. Today we went to a meeting for our dairy co-op and they had some of our milk from the store to try. It was the newest limited edition and I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Never thought I'd say that about store bought milk. It's True Moo's chocolate marshmallow. That just so happens to be one of my favorite milk shakes so I tried it. I had 2 glasses at the meeting and I'm not ashamed to say I asked for and brought home the extra half gallon that didn't get opened LOL! If you like chocolate marshmallow and get the chance, give it a try. I'm not sure how long it'll be available in the store.

I did a True Moo search and they don't have the chocolate marshmallow in our area yet, just the chocolate, but I am still going to go in and look myself when I go to town next weekend. It sounds delicious!!!

If the regular chocolate is as good as the chocolate marshmallow I can see why he's smiling :) We made a quick stop at the grocery yesterday and I was surprised they didn't have True Moo so no more for me :(

Our store has it! I will have to buy some and see what we think. We don't drink milk, I just use it for cooking or cereal. So this will be a fun experiment.

Heather, what do you think the odds are of our milk here being from your actual cows? I have always wondered that. How far does milk really travel?

Milk travels pretty far! I know that milk from FL goes to MI and Chris says Maple Hill is in CA and it comes from NY. I also know milk from CA goes to ND. It's crazy how much milk travels, so there is a possibility that milk from my cows gets to you. It's not a very good possibility though. I did a little research. Right now my milk goes to Tamarack for processing where it's bottled for Kroger grocery stores. According to a couple searches in Utah Kroger stores own Smith's Food and Drug but Kroger sources it's milk local and milk distributed in UT is from Cream O' Weber in Salt Lake City.

The website says Target and Walmart distribute TruMoo all the way out here (Kroger presence is limited here). Sadly, none are listing the marshmallow option though.

You probably do Denise! I think the processing plant is down by Columbus.

Chris- it might not be available any more. It's seasonal and might be phased out already. I was told it's a "winter holiday" thing - whatever that means LOL!

It sounds like Utah's milk doesn't travel very far. If I ever make it out to Ohio I will have to try some of your milk! I am going shopping this weekend. I will pick up some of that chocolate milk if it's still available.
