I have been looking at the weather reports for the snow and ice storm that is going to hit much of the US this weekend...yikes!!! Are any of you ladies in its path?

We are always in its path. Lol. We are to get lots of snow and much colder temps starting today. I hope everyone in the south is prepared!

We are in the path of an ice storm in NC/SC.

I've heard we're going to get some snow. Each time I hear about it, it's more and more LOL! We'll see what happens. (I'm hoping for the 10"!)

Y'all stay safe and warm! I think we'll get cold here and maybe a little ice. This afternoon, my sister and I put antifreeze washer fluid in cars and we wrapped our outside faucets. We should start seeing the cold and rain on Saturday. My son in East Texas seems to be just on the edge of the storm but my daughter in southwest Arkansas is right in the path. They have already told them to prepare for weeks without power and water. They live in a very rural area with lots of trees in those power lines. They seem to be prepared - I sure hope so!

I hope all Wildflowers are prepared and will be safe. Remember to check in if and when we can so we know you are all rights. Lots of prayers for all.

AMEN!

The glitter has started here :) Tiny little flurries. The cows were extra ornery tonight. They love the snow.

Amen. Please be safe, sisters. Listen to what the “professionals” are saying. Wish we could get some snow. Our mountains seriously need it. Freezing rain will probably happen behind snow. :)

This is what we woke to this morning. It's 12 degrees at present but we are under a extreme cold advisory and they say it could get to 15 below with extremes at 25 below. We measured 11 inches so far and it started about 9 last night.

How is everyone else doing. My brother and wife in TN said the ice and snow cause their greenhouse roof to collapse. Hoping they don't lose everything in there to the cold.

ooh, I am stealing Heather's idea of calling snow "glitter." Ohio looks like how I remember Minnesota. Stay warm everyone!

We are chilly here (30's) but we live so close to the water that we didn't freeze last night. They do expect a hard freeze tonight into Monday/Tuesday. My sister and I are just curled up with hot tea and some crafty projects.

My daughter and her little family have snow and ice. They lost power this morning and also lost a tree but luckily it was away from their house. They don't expect to get power back for a while. My son is a little further south from her and so far he's just iced in.

Stay warm and safe!

Laura

We are up to 14 inches and expecting at least 4 more before it's over tomorrow.
Everything closed for tomorrow. Schools etc. Haven't heard if work is shut down yet.
